good things:

• i knit myself a hat. i never knit myself hats.
• the cold temperatures are forcing me to get my work done.
• my mama is coming to visit tomorrow to celebrate my birthday a bit early. i foresee mexican food, lots of wine & knitting, & a trip to target.
• giving kittens new toys & watching them frolic around the apartment with said toys
• renewed love of knitting
• it will be 40+ degrees on sunday & i will run & run & run.
